Topic 1; Lack of updates

I've not updated my deviant page with anything in the past...months or so. Reason for this is that my computer, who slaved day and night for me, finally died at the ripe age of 10 years old. It literally caught fire, and a few parts melted. Luckily, I was able to salvage my hard drive, video card, and sound card, plus the two sticks of RAM it had. I've been using a laptop my mom had sitting around simply to browse the internet, but I've been so empty without photoshop or good computer games (and wow).

My friend, however, is coming back to town around Thanksgiving, and he said he'd let me have his old laptop for free. Now, this laptop is pretty much BRAND NEW, in that it was as good, if not better, than my computer was. So, I'll be back in business late November.

Topic 2; PSP

I bought a PSP so I could mod it and play games with everyone I met online. Turns out I still can't cause my ps3 won't recognize my psp, but I still download games to play on it. Pretty awesome, but all I play are SRPG games and "Prinny; Can I Really Be the Hero?" I'm a closet Nippon Ichi fan, I admit.

Topic 3; Playstation 3

I got it set up for online finally, so I can play with others. My game name is "SuddenlyBRAINS", my online capable games are Soul Calibur 4, Little Big Planet, and Wipeout HD (with Fury installed). I'm too lazy to get new games, so bah. Planning on getting Uncharted 2 though, since I played the beta, and could not stop.

topic 4; absolutely pointless information about what I watch

I watch anime, an obvious point of interest that my gallery should point out. I watch anything as long as it is good, be it violent and gory, or pretty and pink. If I am amused/interested, I'll watch it. Currently, I am watching the following shows (via fansubs, due to being released in Japan not too long ago);

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (Murder Mystery that somehow ended up being a magical fight)
Kobato (CLAMP show, but good. Think Card Captors before the Yaoi and Yuri fans ruined it)
Sora no Otoshimono (Short kid gets an angel robot from a black hole, and it has god-like abilities. It's also the kid's loyal servant. Highly perverse, but funny as hell.)
Full Metal Alchemist; Brotherhood (Fuck the original, this one is amazing, save for Armstrong's sister. She is ugly in this one)
The Sacred Blacksmith (it's basically an MMORPG, except as an anime. Plain and simple)
Seitokai no Ichizon (Generic school show, but with more references than a library, plus a dude who simply declares his female companions as his harem.)
Needless (Generic fighting anime, but ALWAYS gets better every episode. It never slows down, it's easy to follow, and it defies all physical logic with clothing scraps)

That's the gist of what I watch. Nothing similar among any of them. As I said, I watch anything. Hell, I even watched Gravitation a while back, and that show was nothing BUT, and I mean no disrespect, homosexual relations and awesome music.

Topic 5; Trolling

Without photoshop and computer games, I've been reading forums and such. Since I have little artistic talent with MSPaint, I resorted to expanding my vocabulary and mind. Now, I take any advantage of a slip in wording and use it as a weapon against whoever said it.

Topic 6; Furries

The ultimate way to get responses, and certainly a guarantee that someone is going to get snippy with me for this.

I was on MSN, talking to someone I met in one board I was on. He's the densest person I've ever met, refusing to read ANYTHING that he doesn't want to, even if it is on topic. I said one time "I had this one story I wrote where humanity was enslaved by giant animals, and it was almost like the times before the civil war; humans in blistering heat while pompous animals sat back, saying witty remarks." I then go on to explain in a quick summary how it went similar to the Underground Railroad, where humans escaped slavery, but ended up with war and human victory in a huge wasteland (before anyone questions, this was a long time ago. I'm not so bad at stories now). Immediately after I finish, he asks "Are you done with your furf*ggotry?"

Now, first off, I can understand why he thought I was into that sort of thing; I said something about how they enslaved humanity in this old story. Although, rather than reading it, he simply summarized it as ME being into the furry cult. This came up with a bit of an argument, trying to get him to read the end of the summary. He goes on about how I made it up to try and hide it, or something along that line.

I grew up watching cartoons with animals as the main characters. Never knew why they were that way, but whatever; they were enjoyable. Fast forward to the present; I see porn, gore, and disturbing fetishes that completely ruined my childhood memories of those characters. Everything anthropomorphic was tainted. When I wanted to know who came up with this disturbing trash, I learned who did it; a freakish group of people into a sub-fetish called "Furry". Now, at first, I was thinking that every furry was a freak; a person who took every chance to ruin my childhood just so they could have intercourse with animals. I met a few personally, and learned that not all were as bad as I thought (though still disturbing as hell). I have no problem with homosexuality, polygammy, etc. The ONLY thing that can phase me at all is furry.

I can appreciate art. There are some furry artists who have decent touches to their work that I respect, be it extremely cartoony, or highly detailed. I am still wary of them, as it WAS that culture who ruined my childhood. As the saying goes; "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

Topic 7; fears

The only things that scare me nowadays are fire, screamers (when not expecting it), and clowns. If a screaming clown came running up to me while immolated, I would die of fear right on the spot.
